A Riverside Walk At Kegworth 4/7

Life in the village of Kegworth is inextricably linked to the River Soar, which meanders through the low-lying flood plains and round the eastern and southern edge of the village. Many villagers, as well as people from much further afield, enjoy walking, bird watching, fishing, and picnicking along the banks; and boating has always been popular bringing in visitors from a wide area.

I am convinced the judges would like this image Brian
Brian Walbey: Strangeyou should say that today, I spent some time yesterday afternoon working on this to enter into our club competition at the end of the month. I've cropped quite a bit off the top, dialled in a bit more colour saturation and 'burnt in' from the top down to the barrier to darken the sky a bit, fingers crossed the judge likes it.

It sounds idyllic Brian.
Brian Walbey: It was a really nice afternoon for a winter walk, not many people about, it will be different in the summer months!
A nice bright day for the trip.
Brian Walbey: An ideal February afternoon Tom.
I imagine it would be a marvellous place to visit.
Brian Walbey: It is set in rather nice countryside Care, hard to believe it is only a stones throw from a major motorway junction.

I can see why it attracts people with an interest in the great outdoors.
Brian Walbey: It is set in rather nice countryside Alan, hard to believe it is only a stones throw from M1 Jct.24.
A fine reflection Brian. I agree with Chad and seems you do too!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill. Hard to believe it is only a stones throw from M1 Jct.24.
