Chatsworth - The Grounds & Garden 14/14

To finish this look at Chatsworth Garden a shot taken down in the central area of the Rock Garden. It is a very picturesque place to walk through. I'm glad you've enjoyed this short snapshot of the garden, there is so much to see that one visit isn't really enough, we've been three times and still haven't been in the house itself!

This is a really beautiful image, Brian - nice composition and color - and perfect to close out the series!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth, this is all man made, right down to the placing of the rocks and boulders.

Who needs to go into the house when there is beauty like this in the garden!
Brian Walbey: Indeed Ray, although as I've shown on here Maureen's garden isn't too bad, if somewhat smaller.

I'm sure the house will make a grand series Brian
Brian Walbey: After three visits to Chatsworth we still haven't been into the house as yet.
The house is magnificent Brian ....you really must go round!
Brian Walbey: I'm trying to persuade Maureen that we should return to the cottage near Bakewell for a few days in September, if so then perhaps we might visit the house then.
I really enjoyed your series Brian! Another superb image.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Richard.
i can imagine it taking a long time since every spot needs a good deal of time to appreciate, Brian. i enjoyed this series.
Brian Walbey: We spent all day and didn't see all the garden area, then of course there's hundreds of hectares of parkland to stroll in as well, apart from the house of course.
