Whatton House Gardens 6/7

Another flower that I pictured in the garden at Whatton House was this White Lily Flower.

It looks as though some of it has still to bloom at the rear whilst some of it has seen better days, but it seems a couple of insects still found it quite attractive.

This is my 1,200th.posting since joing Shutterchance.

Brian Walbey: Thanks for the first part of your comment Peter, I'm not quite sure if I really believe the remark about your age then, if it's true then I must be approaching 100 smile

The flowers till seem to have quite a lot of life in them, Brian, and you are showing them off well. I like all that insect action.
Brian Walbey: Well this was in early July and even then they were a bit past their best.
not only a couple of insects, i too find this flower attractive (not for the same reasons though)
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ayush.

Well done on no. 1200, Brian. This flower is a bit like me; I've seen better days, too smile Amazingly for me, I recognised it as a lily and you've made a good image from it.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Alan.
Congratulations Brian for your 1200 Posting !

I hope to enjoy at least 1200 more like this pretty picture...

Un saludo!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Eduardo, I hope to be able to post at post another 1,200.
lovely lilies... friendly
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chantal.
We have to remember that flowers are only arrogant flamboyant and ostentacious in order to encourage and seduce the buzzing bees
Brian Walbey: Bit like the male species then Richard smile

This might be lilies -a lovely flower photo which lets dream of warmer days (here minus 17°C).
Brian Walbey: Yes a few warmer days would be nice at the moment not the snow that is forecast over the next couple of days.
