Bourton-on-the-Water last Friday 2 of 5

We spent Wednesday to Friday in the Cotswolds at Bourton-on-the-Water last week.  Sadly the weather left a lot to be desired photographically and of course there were lots of tourists from all over the world at Bourton making decent shots difficult.

I took this series on my compact early on last Friday morning before there were too many people about and the weather was o.k.

Hopefully you will see some more shots from this short holiday as the year goes on.

Really like your composition, Brian, but feel you didn't need to add a frame on this occasion.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, the frame is a Shutterchance thing, all this series were uploaded without frames or borders.

The tree in the foreground frames the image beautifully and adds a sense of depth, very nice Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Tony.
nice Cotswolds image Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill.
Those low and wide bridges certainly areunique in Bourton.
Brian Walbey: We came across a few more little bridges in Lower Slaughter, just down the road Chad, but not as many as here.
A wonderful composition with this perspective Brian! Well done.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.
A cracking image, Brian. For reasons I can't put my finger on, it does not look like England at all!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, i can assure you it is England, one of the nicer bits.

Looks like a nice place to sit and rest, Brian. A very nice image.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Jennie.
Calm before the storm I take it Brian. I like this viewpoint and the tree on the right.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Janet, yes it certainly seems to fill up with people later in the morning.
I agree with Janet and like the framing and processing smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Pamela, a hint of Topaz to lift the colours.
This looks just like the place they had on Countryfile, where every year the locals have a football game in the water.
Brian Walbey: I didn't see that Martin although I am aware of it. i don't know if it is at Bourton or somewhere else.
I love theose trees, they make a perfect frame for the river. Lovely.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Sheila.
