Coming Up In 2020 - 1 of ..........

I very much enjoy instrumental music, apart from the choral items I recently attached to my posts, and I came across this beautiful rendition of Ennio Morricone's 'Gabriel's Oboe' recently, enjoy.   (Yes that is Maureen walking down the path in case you were wondering.)

This is a beautiful path to be gazing at mid-winter!
Brian Walbey: This was last August and we were blessed with a lovely sunny day to visit these gardens.
Just Lovely!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth.
Des fleurs à  profusion, c'est très beau.

Another "invitation," Brian...your image. But "Gabriel's Oboe is one of my all-time favorites EVER"(as is "The Mission" in which it's played). I just told Astrid she can play it at my funeral!
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely garden ginnie and we had a lovely sunny afternoon. This is a very fine performance of this beautiful song but I'm sure you are like me, being of a similar age, try not to think about funerals, having said that the song I included with a recent post that you might have seen is what I want played at my funeral https://brianaw.shutterchance.com/image/2020/01/08/coming-up-in-2020---1-of-/

My idea of the English garden. All kinds of flowers mixed up and blooming beautifully.

Man can play that oboe.
Brian Walbey: It is very English in style Louis as you'll see when I post a set of pictures. I cam across the video on YouTube by accident, it seems to want to tell me what it thinks I would like to watch and this one came up, mind you I'm not complaining it is a very fine performance.
I an a big fan of gardens and a huge fan of crocosmia. Love this scene.
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely garden Care, I hope you enjoy my pictures of it later this year.

Some amazing music, Brian. A very powerful movie too. We watched it a few times.
Love the picture, I think Maureen is enjoying all the flowers.
Brian Walbey: Both of us enjoyed this garden, Maureen had been on about going there for quite a while. As for the music, i think this is the best rendition I have heard to be honest.
very good point of view Brian... this is a very lush garden....petersmile
