Portmeirion - Part 1 6/7

Looking the other way through the Central Piazza from yesterdays picture one feels right down in the middle of the village with all these unusual and colourful buildings around one.

It looks like a place you might find fairies, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Might be a good selling idea to persuade parents to bring children.
Jolie place mais le bleu des bancs me gêne un peu.
Brian Walbey: I know what you mean but the public have to have somewhere to sit and rest, there is a lot of walking at this place.

Stunning place. I like those many shades of green.
Brian Walbey: It's a 'must do' place in North wales in my opinion.

another nice view - and a bench for me!
Brian Walbey: Yes plenty of benches to take a break.
We need more eccentrics in the world and less self seeking politicians

Wouldn't the world be a much nicer place ?
Brian Walbey: To be honest my opinion of our politicians, whatever party they represent, has gone down to as low as it has ever been, and that includes the ones I usually vote for, all because of Brexit. Whatever ones feelings about that I'm sure the nation expected Parliament to honour the democratic result of the electorate, that was the impression given before the vote. The antics they have been getting up to since 2016 are intolerable, as I understand it whether or not there is an agreement by 31st October we are now legally bound to leave anyway so why the heck don't they get their heads together, on both sides of the Channel and sort out the best way of leaving with the least amount of problems for all 28 countries, that's what you or I would do, but then we've got common sense going on in our heads. Sorry rant over, I'm 75 now and allowed to rant smile
I like the feel here - very European.
Brian Walbey: The gentleman who built this place tried to model it on villages he'd seen on his travels in Italy way back in the 1920's.
