It is a busy corner...
Brian Walbey: The last corner before the finishing line, they all want to get there first.
Amazing angle! It's a wonder the bike doesn't just slide off from under him!
Brian Walbey: With modern frames and tyres, and the use of the knee to judge when they can lean over no longer, it is amazing just how modern bikes can be cornered. Sorry to get a bit technical.
Un bel ensemble.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Martine.

Round they go.

It still blows my mind, Brian, to see how close to the pavement they get.

You were in the right curve here to see them going by, Brain. Was Maureen with you??
Brian Walbey: The last corner before the finishing line, they all want to get there first. Yes Maureen was with me, she was used to coming to meetings with me for many years before our children got to an age when they became easily bored so I packed up my involvement, commentating at meetings, at around 1982 so we just go occasionaly nowadays at one of our local circuits.
A close race and no room for error

Can feel, hear the vrooms!
Brian Walbey: They sounded good as they sped away from the corner.
That's quite a lean they're doing on the turn, Brian. Hopefully, none fell over.

Its like the A59 on a weekend...
Brian Walbey: I don't know that road but if it's like some roads round my way the bikers are out in force on sunny summer weekends.
