Croome Court - The Parkland 3/5

One of a set of five images taken in the parkland at Croome Court during the SC.get-together last September.  Yes, the tree is growing through the little building, the visitor buggy driver lady told us about it but I can't remember what she said, sadly.

I noticed this too
Brian Walbey: We went inside, it was full of children most of the time.
Oh, yes, Brian. Who can forget that little wonder!
Brian Walbey: Apparently it's a work of art and needless to say Philine found out all about it https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/croome/lists/the-adam-speaks-partipatory-project-at-croome

This tree house is built for children with fear of height..... (just joking, Brian)... I cannot remember the story about it either)
Brian Walbey: Lots of children played in it while we were nearby. Needless to say Philine found out all about it https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/croome/lists/the-adam-speaks-partipatory-project-at-croome

Brian Walbey: On the main path/road on the way down to teh house from the church.
I can't remember the story either Brian but it is rather a fun place for kids!

I like this project to remember Robert Adam: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/croome/lists/the-adam-speaks-partipatory-project-at-croome
Brian Walbey: Thanks Philine, I have passed the link on to others who've commented.

The buildings doesn't look so old. With the wooden 'foundation' I would think it was built around the tree. So I looked it up:

"The "Adam Speaks" installation, a Robert Adam inspired, accessible tree house was officially opened at the National Trust Croome Court parkland on Saturday 25 November 2017."

Heh, it is a tree house for old people!
Brian Walbey: It was quite a novel thing to come across, most of the time it was full of children enjoying themselves.

I think it is some sort of art installation.

Whatever it is, it's a good talking point!

That is too strange. I thought Chris showed us weird things.
