Borth-y-Gest - Part 3 - 5/5

ON A DAMP, DULL DAY IN MID-JUNE!!!

It almost goes without saying that wandering around the beach was my ‘Lady in Red’ supermodel who was also doing the same as me, except, as usual on a beach, she was looking for seashells.

Jolie vue sur cette petite île.
Brian Walbey: You can see just how much of that is underwater when the tide comes in.
it is a nice feeling to have the beach almost completely to yourself, Brian. i think the weather played a part in that.
Brian Walbey: I think that was the nice part, there was just a young couple with a young child making the best of the weather and us.
A nice composition Brian, plus you got some red in it ! smile
Brian Walbey: Indeed I did Frank, more of that same woman in red tomorrow.

Beachcombing can be a very interesting thing to do
Brian Walbey: Maureen loves beachcombing and rock pools in particular.
Looks like paradise to me, Brian.
Brian Walbey: If the sun had even been slightly out it would have made quite a difference, it wasn't even very warm!

This is such a great picture of Maureen, Brian. Those are the joys of being at the beach.... smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Astrid, Maureen loves beachcombing. Another shot of her, in the same coat, tomorrow, but this time nearer home.

The red colour makes a point of interest in this picture.
Brian Walbey: And that same lady and coat feauture in my picture tomorrow as well.
The red anorak has long been the photographer's friend Brian
Brian Walbey: Indeed Bill, more of it to come tomorrow, but nearer home.

She is a highlight in more than one way smile Great shot.
Brian Walbey: She's been my highlight since the first time we went out together in November, 1968 Louis, more of her tomorrow, in the same coat, but nearer home.
It is only too bad that you had cool weather. It would be even better had your supermodel been able to wear her bikini.
Brian Walbey: It was disappointing about the weather. It is many years since Maureen last wore a bikini, in fact since before our Chris was born in 1976 I think, she does go to the local swimming pool sometimes, strictly in a normal swimming costume.

A lovely picture - it looks idyllic.
Brian Walbey: It would have been if the sun had been shining!

Very helpful o her to wear a red anorak, too. I was going to ask if you climbed the rock but then I see it is still surrounded by water.
Brian Walbey: I cam imagine there have been times when people have waded out to the rock and then got caught by the tide.
Polished pebbles and shells always attract collectors.
Brian Walbey: Maureen will spend ages beachcombing if it is that sort of beach.
The red jacket makes it!
Brian Walbey: Indeed Tom and it features again on Saturday.
