Borth-y-Gest - Part 2 - 2/5

A short series this week taken from Borth-y-Gest looking out across Tremadog Bay to the Rhinog mountains. You can see in all of the images just how far the tide goes out at this point along the coast.

This is my 3,800th.post since joing Shutterchance.

Look at those fells...Tempting, Brian.
Brian Walbey: I guess throughout Snowdonia there is just as much walking as there is in the lakes, avid walkers like to walk up Snowdon and come down on the train https://snowdonrailway.co.uk/
Those mountains are great! Frank and I will come explore them... smile

Looks like a very large quarry over there Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes it is a quarry but it doesn't seem to mar the view too much.
Looks like Frank and Ellie will be up those mountains before we know it Brian!
Brian Walbey: I've suggested they do the big challenge, walk up Snowdon and come down on the train https://snowdonrailway.co.uk/

It seems very quiet Brian.
Brian Walbey: It is Chad, even at busy times I think.

These are real mountains - as I recall when I was in the Snowdonian area of Wales. A fine view!
Brian Walbey: I'm sure, like us, you found North Wales a lovely area of the U.K., we have holidayed there several times over the years.
I really like the composition here, Brian, with the layering of sky, mountains, sand & water.
Brian Walbey: It still looks good even with the tide in to be honest. Thanks for your comment Beverly.
I love when mountains end in beaches.
Brian Walbey: It is like that all the way along this part of the estuary, you will see more as the week goes on.

It looks so calm and inviting.
Brian Walbey: It is Anne, different types of mountains to the Lake District and Scotland.
