Borth-y-Gest - Part 1 - 5/5

To close part 1 of my pictures from Borth-y-Gest this picture was taken from the headland in yesterdays picture and looks across to the building in which we rented the 1st.floor apartment, arrowed, which was quite a nice place to stay, and certainly very quiet. You can see some of the works going on around the rim of the bay, we were a bit disappointed about that.

I am imagining your Best Gal waving to you from that window, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Hoping of course it was me that she was waving at smile
Ce bateau a l'air bien fatigué.
Brian Walbey: I think it has seen better days.
This boat seems like it's been submerged... it looks like there's mud up to the top...
Brian Walbey: The base of the little bay is more mud than sand and I guess it gets all stired up if there is a strong tide.
You certainly made a great Boat Friday out of it, Brian!
Brian Walbey: That's wby I saved this one until today.

I'm sure this was a lovely place to stay Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes it was Chris.
A fine scruffy looking boat Brian. Looks like a fine place to stay
Brian Walbey: It was quite a comfortable apartment with a nice view (see Monday) but I think this boat has seen better days.

The King Fisher is not fishing kings anymore.
Brian Walbey: Bearing in mind the high tides were quite 'low' I'm not sure if this boat would even be near the water most of the time.

Lovely views I’d imagine Brian.
Brian Walbey: Mondays posting was more or less the view from the lounge window.
A good hosing down should put it ship shape, Brian. Looks to be a fine place to stay.
Brian Walbey: It certainly needed some sort of a spruce-up. It was quite a nice place to stay.
Again you can sense the general peace and quiet, what were they building, some sort of new access ?
Brian Walbey: Very peaceful indeed Martin. They wre rebuilding and heightening the sea wall round the bay.

It’s looks as if you had an ideal spot to stay in.
Brian Walbey: Tucked away in the corner of the bay, very pleasant.

That is indeed a room with a view, Brian. This is a great boat Friday. That boat could use some tender loving care.
Brian Walbey: yes I think the boat was looking a bit weary.

The boat looks very san in that most boat owners do regular maintenance to ensure sail ability. painting is first on the list.
Brian Walbey: It lookes as though it hadn't been used for a long time.
Looks like a great spot for your stay!

The boat appears to be unloved judging by the state of it. Your apartment looks very easy to find; did the owner say "Just look for the big red arrow"?
Brian Walbey: The arrow did help Alan smile It was a comfortable apartment that perhaps needed just a bit of modernisation, the wifi was a bit temperamental.
Room with a view, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Very much so Graeme, the view was Mondays post.
