Aberdaron Church 7/7

This final shot was taken after our visit to this delightful little church looking across the churchyard to the coast of the Llyn Peninsula shrouded in fog. This was, believe it or not, the first week in July last year and we had to drive back to Porthmadog to where we were staying in fog all the way!

Unusual, I would think, to give absolute beach frontage to a graveyard.
Brian Walbey: The village is quite small and hilly, this is about the omly level area of any great size.
Joli décor pour un cimetière.
Brian Walbey: In their time I guess those two grave memorials would have cost quite a lot of money.

Yes it's odd to get fog in summer
Brian Walbey: It was very dissapointing, three days later the big heat wave of last year started.

What a lovely setting, though. Fog around the coast is not uncommon in summer. It is caused by marked difference between the temperature of the sea and that of the land.
Brian Walbey: This fog stretched quite a distanxce in land. The following day was much the same as a series in a few weeks time will show, three days later the big heat wave of last year started.
You didn't have much luck with the weather last year Brian
Brian Walbey: We really didn't, the following day was mach the same as a series in a few weeks time will show, three days later the big heat wave of last year started.
This looks to be a very nice beach.
Brian Walbey: It might have been if the Sun had been out, but in the July fog, it wasn't!

I love this foggy view as I experienced on the Irish island, too - it gives some melancholic feeling.
Brian Walbey: I don't mind it like this but not in the first week of July!
I love how you've captured the mist hanging over the coast! Lovely!
Brian Walbey: But as it was the firstw eek of July i can think of better weather to enjoy the beach.
