EASTON WALLED GARDEN, LINCOLNSHIRE

I cannot pick it, but there's something intriguing about this. Perhaps it's because the tap looks like an old flintlock gun pointed at the wall with water coming out the grip. I am not sure....

intriguing....

smile
Brian Walbey: It is one of the strangest taps I've ever come across I must admit.

This is a very attractive water feature, Brian.

A rather twee feature but I'm sure it makes a nice sound for visitors

I hope the water spent is recycled back out, Brian. smile. But, yes, it makes for a calming image this Friday.
Brian Walbey: I suppose the water might be recycled round and round. We need a calming something or another over here at the moment, whatever ones opinion about Brexit it's all getting out of hand and our politicians are acting like spoilt children at the moment and not thinking about the general populace at all! Sorry, rant over.

Do you know we sleep at night with the sound of water.... it is calming and makes you sleepy. I so like this picture, Brian. Every garden should have such a water feature (with recycling water)
Brian Walbey: I'm showing another one on Monday. We had a water feature built into a rockery in our front garden when we moved to our house in 1989 but it was a real pain to look after and keep clean especially when the trees shed their leaves in the autumn so in the end I took it out and now it is just a rockery with a variety of plants.

I am admiring the work that must have gone into making that water trough, Brian

I know you share my weakness for walled gardens Brian.
Brian Walbey: There are good ones and bad ones, this is one of the former.

What a great water spout. It even has a stop to hold a pail.

I like these sorts of things; they add to a garden especially in the height of summer.
Brian Walbey: Yes I liked this, I am showing another one from the same garden on Monday.
