Donington Aeropark 6/7

Following up on Wednesdays tryptych of a take off at East Midlands Airport, the other side of the fence from the Aeropark, two more shots, this time of planes from Thomas Cook and Jet2 flying off in to the wide blue yonder.  I found this short video of a couple of Jet2 aircraft landing and taking off at East Midlands Airport, enjoy:

I do love to fly - these jets are great!
Brian Walbey: I enjoy seeing aircraft but as for actually flying, no thanks.

I would like to fly off to somewhere warm right this moment Brian!

I always like to see aircraft landing and taking off
Brian Walbey: I enjoy seeing aircraft but never wish to fly again. We have had a nice few hours out at Staunton Harold, not far from us, took some pictures with a new lens I've acquired and enjoyed the tearoom before coming home, all firmly wrapped up ágainst the cold.
Magnifique prises de vues !!!
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much.
I must admit i agree with Chris today. The Beast from the East sounds cold"!"!

Have you noticed how for the weather people everything has to have a name these days, our forecatser on TV last night said after the Beast we will be getting the 'Best from the West', no comment!

More happy holidaymakers heading off to Lord knows where. I don't envy them at all; all too much "Hi di hi" for me. I'm flying up to Shetland in May.

People are mentioning the "Beast from the east"; my answer to that to wear a "vest from the west".
Brian Walbey: Aaprt from not wver wishing to fly again we wouldn't fancy many of the destinations you can fly to from Eeast Midlands Airport. According to our locol weatherman after the beast we are getting the 'Best from the West', I sometimes wonder when these people are going to grow up.
Here on these I went up, well if not just these something very similar.
Brian Walbey: WE don't fly these days, I must admit to being terrfied even at the thought!

I would guess you are in an air balloon right next to the plane! Amazing detail.
Brian Walbey: Where they are taken is only a very short distance from the runwy so a modest zoom lens fills the frame.

Interesting in this series to compare designs of modern and veteran jets.
Brian Walbey: An ever changeing sort of transport isn't it.
