Oooh, well seen, Brian!
Brian Walbey: It is an often doen subject round my way as it is in the Orangry at a local stately home, but I think this version is slightly different.
I really like that we get to see your competition folder, Brian. You can be very proud of yourself!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie, I've now been a member of three different camera clubs for 47 years without a break, just think how many images I would have if I scanned the pre-digital era ones.

This surely would be a winner Brian!
Brian Walbey: I would like to think it would do well but it is an often done subject round my way as it is in the Orangry at Calke Abbey, not far from us, but I think this version is slightly different.

Anyhow, this one should be stiff competition.

I think this is a winner, Brian. I love the B&W and the composition. I hope you were able to crawl out again wink

I really love it, Brian, though the judges will be sure to ask why you were in jail.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mary. In reality this is a much photogrpahed subject round our area which is why I tried to put a different spin on it.

Oh very arty. Having seen your reply to Chris and I now remember where I have seen something similar and recall your comment about the photo opportunity.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan. If you've done the full tour round Calke than this is in the roof of the Orangry.
Alwayse good to looks outside the obvious picture Brian. This is probably asking too much but I find myself wanting this to be a perfect oval
Brian Walbey: I know what you mean but it is completely circular in the roof of the Orangery, this being its reflection on the wall.
I like it, an original idea for a nice shot.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Claudio. It is an often done subject round my way as it is in the Orangery at a local stately home not far from us, but I think this version is slightly different.
Should certainly get an hon mention, Brian!
Brian Walbey: I would like to think so Tom,it is an often done subject round my way as it is in the Orangry at Calke Abbey, not far from us, but I think this version is slightly different.
