A chacune son tour d'être photographiée.

Nice storytelling!
Brian Walbey: They were so busy they didn't even notice me taking their photos.
At least they're using a proper camera! smile
Brian Walbey: Indeed Elizabeth, most people use phones for this type of shot these days.
This is fun, Brian...and what memories are made of.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Ginnie, they were really enjoying themselves taking each others photo.

1. When in Portugal, I started to realise that the biggest percentage by far, of selfies are taken by women. I get more than enough of myself when I do the "Look in the mirror" thing in the morning smile I can think of many reasons, but would really like to know why they do it. Imagine when they get back in their circle of friends and share the pictures, the poor viewer must look at a lot of pictures of "her" with something in the background.

2. A recent discussion with a graphic artist, pointed to the fact that drop-down shadows as part of picture are frowned upon in their circles. Personally I like them, but wouldn't use them when judges are about.

3. Some great ones in the competition folder.
Brian Walbey: I think you're right about the female gender taking most of the selfies Louis, they seem to do it all the time. Drop-down shadows aren't against the rules in photographic circles but only on rare occasions like this one of mine would they be deemed suitable. It was a particularly good competition, shame you couldn't see them all.
I like this, Brian. Different for you.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mary. I've done plenty of collages on SC as you know but it is very rare for me to enter one into a competition at the club, and also I don't often attempt candid shots either.

I love this. Taking pictures is fun and gives a nice memorie..
Brian Walbey: Thanks Astrid. We seem to get a lot of pictures of Maureen but not many of me, thankfully, when we go out.
Nice one, Brian - the reds sure catch the eye!
Brian Walbey: Thansk Tom. yes the girls did have very colourful clothing.
