For once, I agree with the judge; I like all the entries but especially yours. THe selective colouring works well.

it looks a bit wild out there, Brian. the flag is blown almost all the way out upright.

Oh yes, the sea looks wild and stormish - excellent selective colouring! Yes, this is Southwold. I remember your image.
Brian Walbey: Avery strong wind was blowing that day but it didn't spoil our enjoyment of lovely Southwold, as you rightly guessed.
The waves are excellent here and with the flag, so is the wind.
