On dirait un tramway d'un autre temps.
Brian Walbey: There is a natioanl tram museum near where I live Martine, they have lots of trams there and run several every day. https://www.tramway.co.uk/

This is very good, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray.
This looks good in B&W!
Brian Walbey: It ages it suitably doesn't it.
Perfect for B&W, Brian. Lots to see in this image.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie. Shame this is not near where the get together is next year, I'm sure we would all enjoyriding backwards and forwards on all the different trams.

This is nice Brian, full of period charm
Brian Walbey: Crich is well worth a visit Chris if you ever venture this way, indeed it would be a good place for you and Chad, et al to have one of yoru meetings.

You must have been in your element when you took this, Brian
Brian Walbey: Indeed I was Lisl, Crich is just over an hour from us on a good run in the most atractive countryside.
Ideal B&W subject Brian , this must be Crich I think
Brian Walbey: Indeed it's Crich Bill. It would be a good place for you and Chad, et al to have one of your meetings.

B&W with beautiful strong tones - should be published on the club site. Speaking of which - you claim the theme to be "On wheels", but there are no wheels in the competition pictures. Maybe you have the weblinks mixed up?
Brian Walbey: Thanks Louis not only for yoru praise but for drawing my attention to the incorrect link, I have put that right, it should be https://www.flickr.com/photos/shepshedcameraclub/sets/72157638077264543
As you can imagine it took a lot of work to set this long series up and it was easy for me to copy and paste the wrong link in, enjoy the correct one if you have time.

Brian Walbey: Indeed Chad, well those fit enough to climb the stairs smile

Your processing is very effective Brian - it really creates a feel for the past.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Anne, I felt the toning done just as you have said.
These old trams are great, I do like them. I was telling Elizabeth about the conductors flipping the wooden seats over at the end of the journey so they faced forward for the return trip.
Brian Walbey: Last time we were at Crich some people were flipping the seats over when they left the tram, saved the staff some work.

This looks fabulous in B&W what a beautiful tram... she is a beauty. Great picture.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Astrid. Shame this is not near where the get together is next year, I'm sure we would all enjoyriding backwards and forwards on all the different trams.
A fine image, Brian - nice treatment.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom, I thought toning seemed suitable.
