The converging lines work for me, Brian.
Brian Walbey: I liked it like that rather than straight on.
very nice view outside, Brian.
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely garden, very English.
I really like the way you've done this, Brian!
Congrats on all your winnings, commendations and honorable mentions!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth, I will consider myself honourably congratulated to day smile

I note the added window security Brian, leaded lights are easy to remove.
Brian Walbey: I don't know if that security was from new for the building or added later.
I can just imagine how lovely this room must be to have those windows, Brian.
Brian Walbey: The room itself wasn't that exciting to be honest Ginnie but it is a very English garden down below the window.

From the competition - that one with the butterflies - just way too plastic and should be in a scrapbook competition. Otherwise, very good entries. Your main pic for today: what about a closer crop? Otherwise very good.
Brian Walbey: The butterfly one is very representative of camera club work these days and again falls into the creative category althoug it doesn't do a lot for me.
Always a rewarding style of picture Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, trying something a bit different.

We could be in Hidcote Gardens.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Philine although this would be a very much smaller version. You might enjoy my own video of Hidcote on YouTube here https://youtu.be/IVKyphnylzg and it has music as well.
I remember this one.
Brian Walbey: I posted a similar one a long time ago but that was only a single section window in the same building.

A lovely picture Brian: natural framing
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris.
Through the window shots are always attractive
Brian Walbey: I couldn't avoid taking this, it was there to be taken.

I like this very much. You've got some good detail on the frame despite the high contrast. Presumably there is secondary glazing place as I can see a reflection?
Brian Walbey: Yes I think there is secondary glazing.

This is excellent! Love the angle, the window frames, the garden....the colors...just great all around.
Brian Walbey: I'm almost blushing at your delight for this picture, it is one of my favourites.
