a very nice panorama, Brian.
i find your posts all have a generally "competition-ready" quality to them! smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ayush. After 45+ years in camera clubs it's ground in me to produce images that are more or less competition acceptable even if they are not good enough to win.

This is a lovely image Brian, perfectly composed. I'm not surprised it was highly commended
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris, on most of the forthcoming images I'm including a link so you can all see the images that actually gained the awards, something to compare my entries against.

I am struck by just how much there is in this beautiful composition, Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Lisl. This is a lovely little coastal village just down the road from Porthmadog.

Lou's of depth in this one Brian.
Brian Walbey: Taken with only a 28mm.lens Chad, before the days of panorama facilities built into modern cameras.
Une très jolie vue sur la mer.
Brian Walbey: This is a really beautiful little coastal village in North Wales.

Yes...beautiful panorama here, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, and taken with a camera I was using before they came with oanorama facilities built in.
It is very nicely done with the great curve available with the wide angle used to great effect here.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Mary.
Land/seascape perfection, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Phew, thanks Frank, it's usually me saying that to you, or something similar.
i like this composition because your framing of the landscape below the harbour scene is curved like the inside of a huge ship Brian....petersmile

does that make any sense to you?

....petersmile
Brian Walbey: Thanks so much Peter, I know what you mean. Thsi is a beautiful little coastal village in North Wales.
A fine panorama Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, and taken with a camera I was using before they came with oanorama facilities built in.
A lot of interest packed into this frame Brian.

A very fine image, indeed, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Tom.
This one feels like a painting to me, Brian, which I quite enjoy!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie, I guess it does have a painterly look to it.

Only "Highly commended"? What's the matter with the judge? A glorious view.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, a lovely little village to visit not far from Porthmadog. The award winning images can be found here https://www.flickr.com/photos/shepshedcameraclub/albums/72157626085714577
