Easton Walled Garden 7/10

Further to the lovely display of Wisteria in yesterdays posting there are sprigs of it growing along the lower walls on the edge of this part of the Easton garden at shoulder height, just right for photos.

This is perfect, you didn't even need your step ladder to take the picture

England, it seems, makes an acceptable alternative home for the gorgeous Japanese Wisteria., Brian.
Brian Walbey: Peopel all over the country manage to grow it.
Walls and Wisteria were made for each other Brian.
Brian Walbey: They certainly were Chad.
They are like hanging lupins - so pretty.
Brian Walbey: They certainly looked good on this low wall.

That's theh most vivit I have seen, Brian - beautiful shot
Brian Walbey: They seemd to be at the prime of their flowering that weekend.
I would love a house where Wisteria looked in keeping
Brian Walbey: So would I except they take a bit of looking after and grow quite profusely if not trimmed regularly.

They are a splendid sight. That glorious brickwork is perfect for it.
Brian Walbey: Unusual to see it on a low wall like this.
they are beautiful flowers Brian and it's nice the way that they seem to be hanging across the top of the wall....petersmile
Brian Walbey: I've not come across them of a low wall lke this before.
I love Wisteria. We cannot grow it here, so I enjoy seeing it elsewhere!
Brian Walbey: Presumably it must be too hot or something in the summer months where you live, they are lovely flowers.
