Blakeney 5/7

I rather liked this picture opportunity as we walked across the marshes at Blakeney, the twisting creek leads nicely through the picture to the yacht pulled up out of the water almost in the middle of nowhere. I guess the owner would need a high tide to cover the marsh in order to return it to the water.

Again one of those wonderful pictures. I wonder how the owner gets to his boat after the tide came in.... that should be a lot of water to make that one sail.
Brian Walbey: I can't imagine the tide coming up that far apart from in mid-winter.
I always wonder about such things, Brian, but, then, the sea is such a wonder, isn't it...and the boats that sail on it!

Photo opportunity well taken. About the boat, some thoughts come to mind. How did it get there? Probably will get out the same way, except the keel board(s) must now be stuck deep in the land. But then, looking at the plants and grasses, I think they don't get submerged by the sea, on any regular basis. So, a tide high enough to lift that boat is probably far in the offing. Tch, it does leaves on wondering smile
i like this composition Brian... i'm sure that the twisting creeks fill up at high tide and that he can just have it winched back into the water....petersmile

Yes...brilliant shot, Brian.
I love this composition, Brian!!
Brian Walbey: I think this week has been one of my better weeks for composition, I thought a lot about that before I took these shots, and I have loads more I could show, perhaps a reprise one day.

It does look typically Norfolk, Brian - a county I visited often when my Ma-in-Law was alive
