What a great pic, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray.
i am trying to picture how it would have looked a long time ago, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Unfortunately cameras weren't invented before this silted up!
A very nice shot. Were they bird watching or sketching?
Brian Walbey: They were sketching Elizabeth, behind me was another couple painting with their easels.

And these people are drawing it all
Brian Walbey: They seemed to be doing so Chris.
It reminds me of a bird sanctuary, Brian.
Brian Walbey: The whole of this coastline is a haven for birds at various times of year and bird watchers abound at times.

Did you manage to get to Blakeney Point to do some birding, Brian?
Brian Walbey: No we didn't Lisl, it is quite a long walk, probably o.k.for you and Chris but too much for Maureen, her brother and me.
Are they birdspoting Brian?
Brian Walbey: They were sketching Bill.
Those two look very busy in their study of this scene Brian.
Brian Walbey: Busy sketching Chad.

Lovely flat landscape. With such marsh-like properties, it would be mosquito infested, if in SA.
Brian Walbey: Fortunately I think Mosquito's don't live in places like this.
I guess it may be a blessing somewhere, making land grow.
Brian Walbey: Fortunately the land that has been formed is only ideal for keaving to nature and not building on.

I would think that these two are making sketches of the scene., something that I feel that i should be good at but in reality I'm hopeless.
Brian Walbey: They are indeed sketching. behind me were some other people busy painting.

This is a fascinating landscape and much to be seen. I like your composition with the two persons in the foreground.
Brian Walbey: It's so flat but there are lots of interesting places to visit, that's why I'm showing you all a few of them over several series. Thanks for the composition comment, that's the third one this week, I always work hard on composition, it's one of the best skills I've learnt from being a camera club member for many years.

I can see that this a place to visit and what a wonderful place to put on paper with pen and maybe watercolour too...

it's an interesting point of view Brian... salt water marshes end up teaming with life... waterfowl fish small critters and insects to feed them all....petersmile
Brian Walbey: There is a lot of wildlife and at times of the year when the birds are migrating there are lots of bird watchers about.
Flat init? smile
Brian Walbey: Just a tad, but nice all the same.
