Crook Hall Gardens 7/7

There are so many pathways through Crook Hall gardens, and archways which was the idea behind the collage I posted on Tuesday. This arch through the hedge leads to the Silver and White garden which has this imposing statue, presumably Venus as its central feature.

Frames it very well, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Obviously designed in advance to look like this.
A wonderful comp, Brian! I like that you kept so much foreground in - with those lovely, lacy shadows!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth, I took a portrait format shot of just the arch and statue but it didn't work so well.

Reminds me of a Shakespeare setting.
Brian Walbey: I guess it does actually.
It looks casual, but I'm sure its not, Brian.
Brian Walbey: I'm sure it is intended.
A fine spot to photograph. I like the look of the tree shadows too.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Jacquelyn.
