Crook Hall Gardens 4/7

Like all such places they have a tearoom, in fact there are two, a large one near the main entrance building which also has a gift shop and selection of plants for sale and the other to one side of the Hall which allows one to sit in the garden with tea, like this couple or on the inner terrace (see tomorrow) like we did.

This is a very pleasant place to enjoy a warm beverage, Brian...I think it would be quite ok with a cold one, too!
Brian Walbey: This is one of several areas to sit and enjoy ones beverages.
Very idyllic Brian.
Brian Walbey: Certainly is Frank, peaceful and quiet and only a short distance from the city centre.
A perfect place to take a rest!
Brian Walbey: Very much so Elizabeth, more of the rest we took tomorrow.

What a wonderful place to have and eat outside like that. Wonderful, love all the greens and the flowers.
Brian Walbey: There are several areas like this to sit and enjoy tea, look in on Friday to see what we done.

This is my place, too. I am sure that Sir Alan and some other SCrs had taken seat there, too.
Brian Walbey: As I said you would love this place Philine, even more so after you've seen my Friday post I think.
I would most definitely choose the garden on a fine day.
Brian Walbey: It is so very quiet and peaceful and yet only a short distance from Durham city centre.
I knew the tearooms would feature sooner or later Brian
Brian Walbey: Even more so when you see Fridays post Bill.
It was a nice-sized house - I could imagine living there!
Brian Walbey: Yes quite big, one part very old and the other part from later times.

What a glorious place to take afternoon tea - and cake smile
Brian Walbey: Indeed Alan, Fridays post will show you what we had.
