I love this mini-wilderness down by the river, Brian.
Brian Walbey: This is taken from the grass area at the edge of the car park, as you will see the main gardens are really nice.

Jolie maison au bord de l'eau. Dommage que l'arbre la cache en partie.
Brian Walbey: When I post the main series you will get to see the house from several different angles.

I've never heard of this place but I have to say it looks to be a charming place
Brian Walbey: Another of these places, like the one in Derbyshire, that we heard about purely by accident, only the gardens are open to the public.
A new one on me. Looks rather nice

Very fancy place with some water features too. Very nice.
Brian Walbey: Only the gardens are open to the public, but they are quite nice as you will see when I post the main series.

an idyllic place- England as I love it!
Brian Walbey: We found about this place quite by accident, the gardens are open but not the house.
Particularly fine tiled roofs and chimneys
Brian Walbey: It's a lovely house from the outside, only the gardens are open to the public.

Looks to be a fine place to while away the hours between having morning coffee somewhere and then afternoon tea. smile
Brian Walbey: They have a pleasant tearoom for morning coffee and afternoon tea on site, although only the gardens area open to the public.
What a great place, Brian! Lovely shot of it - I like this POV!
