What a magnificent Wisteria!
Brian Walbey: There's more to it than is evident in this photo.
How lovely that is! I like all the lines, and the lovely wisteria (?) !
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth.
The walls and flowers are magnificent, Brian.
Brian Walbey: It was just a shame it was a very dull Spring Bank Holiday Monday.

Just look at those wonderfully trained plants on the wall
Brian Walbey: Lovely aren't they.
The walls make great backdrops for this splendid foliage, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Indeed, although I wish it had been a sunny day and not dull.
This place must have looked a mess when it was being built Brian.
Brian Walbey: Most of the 'big house' went a long time ago, just the gardens remain.

We had a the 'blue rain' flower in our garden... I just read it is called Wisteria. What a great picture. Perfect wall for those greens.
Brian Walbey: Our neighbour has a Wisteria in her back garden, it looks lovely when its in bloom but has to kept well cut back or it takes over.

Purple rain was our name for the wisteria. Great effect (tone mapping?) in the conversion.
Brian Walbey: Not tone mapping as such Louis, a small amount of Topaz Adjust.

Look at this! More please.
Brian Walbey: Quite a lot more shots from this garden in a few weeks time.
Très joli avec la glycine dans le fond.
A walled garden with a Wisteria....what could be better?
Brian Walbey: Indeed bill, shame it wasn't a better day for weather.

There is always something lovely about walled gardens. The tree trunks make such lovely patterns.
Brian Walbey: These look especially good, it must have taken a long time to get them like this.
That's a very healthy wisteria!
