Stoneywell Cottage Part 2 3/5

We made a return visit to the recently opened National Trust property of Stoneywell Cottage, just a few miles from us at Ulverscroft near Leicester.  The idea was to walk the grounds and woodland with the autumn colours in display, I hope you think it was worth our while.

Hard to beat this as an Autumn-in-the-garden shot, Brian.
Brian Walbey: It couldn't be any other season could it.
Definitely a wonderful walk - I love the red lined path!
Brian Walbey: It was a great couple of hours spent wandering about in the gardens and woodland wher we saw a wild Muntjac Deer but it was quite timed and I couldn't get near enough for a decent photo.

The saturated colours are wonderful
Brian Walbey: The light was just right for good colours.
Totally my kind of place for a walk, Brian. Totally.
Brian Walbey: I'm sure you would enjoy it Ginnie, and there's a lovely little tearoom at the end of the path.

It looks beautiful; the sun makes the leaves look ike copper.
Brian Walbey: Couldn't have asked for a better day Alan.
Glorious colour. You will have to go and do a series of it in the spring
Brian Walbey: Yes I will suggest to Maureen we go back in about mid-April.
That looks an old tree Brian.
Brian Walbey: Going by its height I suspect you are right Chad.
You sure got a perfect day, Brian. Another gorgeous shot.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mary, we couldn't have asked for a better day.
A nice photo and I'm sure an enjoyable walk down this path.
Brian Walbey: It was Jacquelyn, time well spent.
Great lighting, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Great light that day Tom.
