Osborne House - Part 2 2/6

There is much to see in the Walled Garden at Osborne, I have selected just these few shots taken of, and inside, the two Gothic lean-to glasshouses which were erected in 1854 by Thomas Clark & Co. of Birmingham.

I could spend hours there, I think! Beautiful montage, Brian!
Brian Walbey: We did spend quite a long time just walking round these greenhouses and the rest of the walled garden.
Jolie présentation. Cette serre est magnifique.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Martine, so much to see in those greenhouses.

I love places like this when they are kept in this condition - what a sight!
Brian Walbey: Well worth spending some time in.
What a beautiful collage Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.
Now those are what you call greenhouses Brian
Brian Walbey: Indeed Bill, and we spent quite some time looking at them.
I bet they grew some exotic stuff in these Brian.
Brian Walbey: Indeed, a real mix of stuff Chad.

This is a fine montage - and new to me. I like the glasshouses very much.
Brian Walbey: This is in the walled garden I think you didn't get to.

You have to admire the shear sense of order, fine set of photos.
Brian Walbey: It is all extremely tidy.

Interesting to see what i assume is a boiler house on the other side of the garden wall. I wonder is that supplied heat to the greenhouse? I like your choice of images especially top left and bottom left (the latter for the shadows).
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan. It looks as though each greenhouse might have had its own boiler house.
Woo - they are well kept!
Brian Walbey: It is all extremely tidy
