Thornbridge Hall - Part 2 6/6

To finish this look at Thornbridge Hall Garden (which you all seem to have enjoyed, and which would make a great venue for an SC get-together) some shots of the colourful flowers still in bloom in the Long Border. Considering this was early September it was nice to see such a show of colour still available for all to see.

Beautiful!

But...Brian, old chap...we didn't get to September yet...that is still some days away! smile
Brian Walbey: Early September last year Ray, we are going again in two weeks time to the Peak District but won't visit this garden, we would like to see it in spring or summer.

Tu nous offres de magnifiques bouquets de fleurs pour clore cette série.
Brian Walbey: These flower beds were a real mix of colour for early September.
What a lovely montage Brian! Well done indeed.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.

I love these long walled borders Brian
Brian Walbey: So do I Bill, and last September they were a riot of colour.

I wish my garden looked as colourful as that in September, Brian
Brian Walbey: We're nearly at September and our main flower bed in the back garden still has a lot of colour in it, Maureen's doing, not mine!
another bright display of cheer and delight, Brian. a strong contender indeed for an SC meet up.
Brian Walbey: These flower beds were a real mix of colour for early September. It would be a good place for a meet up, a nice garden but one we wouldn't get too spread about in.
A well tended garden is always a delight for a gardener to see.
Brian Walbey: I couldn't agree more Mary, Maureen is the gardener at our house.

It certainly is a very colourful display. I like the way you have picked out some for us to enjoy in greater detail.
Brian Walbey: It seemed a nice way to finish this series off, I do advise you to visit this garden if you ever pass close by that way. Next week I'm starting on our visit to Osborne House last year, I took dozens of pictures there.
