Longshawe Estate 6/7

Taken at the Longshaw Estate, Derbyshire during September last year. Away from looking out over the moorland scenery at Longshaw we came across this fine tangled growth of slender trees alongside the path, quite why it is growing like this I don’t know.

On dirait un décor d'un filme d'horreur. Jolie photo.
Brian Walbey: I guess it does, thanks Martine.

Very well shot, Brian. I have a few shots like this, but they were taken in a Thai jungle. [ https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/-yrOnSWPRSRow1wQvlBtldMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink ]
Brian Walbey: Does look very similar.

What a jungle - I saw such a situation in some English gardens- and I like this.
Brian Walbey: Yes I've seen this elsewhere also.

Ghostly aren't they
Brian Walbey: Presumably they are very old or grow like this naturally.
Very nicely captured Brian! It makes me think of Africa.
Brian Walbey: Ray has seen similar in Thai jungles he tells me.

I love this kind of branches... it looks like worms living their own life.
Brian Walbey: Pretty big worms Astrid!
I come across places like this too and do not know why.
Brian Walbey: Ray has seen similar in Thai jungles he tells me.
Makes a good shot, any way, Brian smile
Brian Walbey: Indeed it does Tom.

It looks like something that will suddenly entwine itself around your ankles and slowly full you in t the bushes smile Have you tried this in B&W?
Brian Walbey: Not something to tumble into in the dark! I might try it in B.&.W.
tangle-wood Brian... what a wonderbul thing to find and to photograph Brian....petersmile
Brian Walbey: Strange how it has grown like that.
What a tangled web...
Brian Walbey: As in our national political situation at the moment, 'Oh what a tangled web we weave!'
