Faces In The Market

I took this collection of female mannequin heads being used to model ladies hats and scarves on the market at Bakewell, Derbyshire. In some way there is something just a little sinister about this I feel.

A gathering of Brexiters...
Brian Walbey: Perhaps, but going by the lack of smiles they must be ones who voted on the losing side smile

On dirait qu'elles regardent les passants.
Brian Walbey: One had that feeling as one passed by Martine.
What a collection Brian!
Brian Walbey: Indeed, but it would have been a better picture if I could have taken all the price labels off.

I agree with you Brian, they have a zombie feel to them
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris.
I can see what you mean Brian. They could be something from a 60s horror film
Brian Walbey: Actually I felt a bit daft standing there taking this picture, people must have wondered what I was up to!
It is as close as cats or sheep that you are going to get, I suppose, Brian.
Brian Walbey: I guess so Mary.

Funnily enough, I had a sinister feeling about these even before I read your comment. Almost as though the eyes were watching you. The scarves look nice, though.
Brian Walbey: I took these from several angles but this seemed the best one, they are certainly very picture worthy.

This is the reason that I love markets, you always see things like this... they look too happy and too surprised HA... zombies indeed. Great shot.
(How are you doing after the operation?)
Brian Walbey: markets are good for candids although I'm not really brave enough to take many of those so is tick to what's on the stalls.
Nice shot - but it is just a little creepy!
Brian Walbey: I thought it was a bit creepy when I saw it for real to be honest.
