Chatsworth - The Grounds & Garden 13/14

One of a series I took during a visit to Chatsworth in September last year. There is a very fine Rock Garden at Chatsworth and this is the first of two shots taken of the garden, firstly a view looking down over the centre of the garden.

The garden is a busy and very interesting sight, Brian.
Brian Walbey: It is an amazing garden, all the rocks have been brought in over the years.

So much to see and enjoy here fr a wide range of people; one reason that Chatworth is so popular, of course.

I hope your eye has now settled down.
Brian Walbey: The whole place is worth a visit. The eye is o.k.but taking a bit longer to settle down than the right one. Apparently no two are ever quite the same experience.
Chatsworth is a real day out. In fact if you go around the house as well a day is not enough
Brian Walbey: Indeed it is Bill, we've been there three times now and still haven't been in the house.
A breathtaking view Brian!
Brian Walbey: Fantastic isn't it.

Terrifically landscaped isn't it
Brian Walbey: Amazing Chris.
What a great view this affords. Love the people for scale.
Brian Walbey: Chatsworth really is a lovely place to visit Mary, what a shame there are thousands of miles between it and you.
You got a great day for it, Brian!
Brian Walbey: It was everything one could want for an early September day Tom.

What a wonderful view and an interesting rock garden. I have been in Chadsworth many, many years ago, but I think I didn't see much of the garden, rather the rooms inside.
Brian Walbey: The gardens are wonderful Philine, after three visits we still haven't been in the house.

My best wishes for your eye. My second hip needs also a bit more time to settle down than the first one, I still need my crutches when I am out and about - for safety.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Philine. My first eye settled down almost from the day after but my left one is going to take a bit longer I think. I spoke to the hospital/consultant and they said no two procedures are exactly the same, which was the case with Maureen's Hips, and yours by the sound of it, at least my vision is amazing now they have been done.
I would love to walk around that garden!
Brian Walbey: As I said the other day perhaps you will one day when you come over to stay at your English home.
wow this is some view, brian. i like the variety of tree and the clouds, they add a lot to the image overall.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ayush, all the scenery in that are of England is beautiful.
