Cripes, Brian...is that really a 125cc powered sidecar outfit...I thought they existed only in SE Asia?
Brian Walbey: Yes I couldn't believe it was only a 125 until I looked at the race programme.
Superb shots Brian! I love the modern/ancient contrast in the bottom one.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, a real mix of old and new styles among this lot.

This must have been very exciting to watch
Brian Walbey: They are Chris, there are so many different stresses going on in corners that the steering bucks about all over the place.
HA! It's like they're trying to get them to tilt sideways! grin
Brian Walbey: That's precisely what they are trying to do Ginnie, rather them than me!

This is always spectacular to see. LOVE how they are 'one'...
Great pictures.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Astrid. The driver and passenger have to work so closely together they do almost become one.
Not quite point to point is it Brian.
Brian Walbey: Apart from pointing the front in one direction and the outfit slides in another!
Sheer madness! Great to watch though
Brian Walbey: I wouldn't go on one of these but they are exciting to watch. The modern ones look more like 3-wheeled formula racing cars.

To me, these are more exciting to watch as a layman than the solo bikes. The sidecar chappy really has to work hard.
Brian Walbey: They certainly provide a refreshing change in the programme of races to constant solo races. The passenger has to work hard and anticipate what the driver is going to do.

1986 is classic already? It must mean I am old, then smile
Brian Walbey: Not a classic as such but this organisation caters very much for British machines and foreign ones up to the mid 80's before the modern superbikes etc.were introduced by the Japanese.

Two great action packed pictures Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Anne, I wouldn't ride on one of these for a million pounds, well perhaps a short ride smile

Goodness, Brian, you have to be very flexible in this.
Brian Walbey: The passenger certainly does.
Fine action shots, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom.
