Chatsworth House

Taken on the same day as yesterdays posting this is the beautiful, and very famous, house at Chatsworth in the Peak District. I will not say too much about it now as I have a series coming up later in the year showing you around the gardens. Astrid and Ginnie visited this place a few years back of course, when they stayed with Tracey, perhaps they will return one day.

This is a "wow" shot, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks ray, it is a 'wow' place to visit also.
Most impressive isn't it!
Brian Walbey: A very beautiful stately home and gardens, one of the most famous in the country and well worth a visit when you and Frank are together over here.

C'est magnifique avec cette étendue de verdure devant.
Brian Walbey: One of the countries most spectacular and popular stately homes Martine.

It is a house in a beautiful setting isn't it
Brian Walbey: It certainly is Chris, we will no doubt go there again one day, just over an hour from us, and we still haven't been in the house yet on 3 visits.
This panorama has worked really well Brian, capturing the setting of the place.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chad.
You're making me want to go back to revisit my images from that day (so long ago!), Brian. But then, I'm very sure your own images will bring it all back!
Brian Walbey: I knew that you would have memories of Chatsworth Ginnie. We have been there several times but haven't been inside the house as yet, the gardens are so beautiful there never seems to be time.

This looks extremely grand, Brian. How much of the house is open?
Brian Walbey: Chatsworth is altogether a beautiful place to visit, not only the house but the gardens and parkland also. We have been there several times but haven't been inside the house as yet, the gardens are so beautiful there never seems to be time. I think most of the house, apart from the private quarters is open.
I love the thick woods behind it.
Brian Walbey: I wish I could show you the whole setting of the house Mary myself but there is a very good aerial video here to look at https://youtu.be/Xa6mo45E0vM

Typical british understatement. Referring to this hotel like castle as a "house". The enormous lawns and woos, with enough space for a world wide jamboree, is probably referred to as "the garden". Still, it is beautiful and your pano does it justice.
Brian Walbey: One of the countries most spectacular and popular stately homes Louis, this aerial video gives you a good idea of what it is like. https://youtu.be/Xa6mo45E0vM WE are lucky in that it is only just over an hour from us should we wish to visit.

A lovely place that I have visited several times
Brian Walbey: I guessed you might know Chatsworth Anne with your Mother living Sheffield way.

I even visited twice and I really like the house. The second time we were inside, what a grand place to be and you captured it so well.
Brian Walbey: We've been four times over the years but still haven't been inside as yet, but it is only a bit more than an hour from where we live to visit again.
Chatsworth is a magnificent house and you have done it justice Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, we've been four times over the years but still haven't been inside as yet.
