Claydon House Gardens 3/7

As promised yesterday this is taken looking back at where that shot was taken from, and what a lovely show of roses climbing up the end of the wall by the gate.

I love a "mature" garden like this... beautiful shot, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth, this is a nice garden to walk in, I bet in mid-summer it is a riot of colour.
A wonderful perspective here Brian!
Brian Walbey: Some idea of where the previous two pictures in this series were taken from on the other side of the gate.
You English have this down to a science, Brian!
Brian Walbey: I guess, in a way, we do, but I'm certain there are just as lovely gardens in Hollandland and Americaland.

Sort of garden that I like. Not too formal.
Brian Walbey: None of this garden was over formal, just how I like it.

And a vista to the countryside beyond, Brian
Brian Walbey: Indeed Lisl, that path is where the two earlier photos were taken.
Makes the garden during that season, I would say.
Brian Walbey: It wouldn't seem the same without those in bloom would it.
Lovely brickwork and gates Brian.
Brian Walbey: I guess this walled garden must be quite old, but it does have this lovely colourful entrance at that time of year.
A delight to see Brian
Brian Walbey: Lovely isn't it.
A nicely maintained plot.
Brian Walbey: Lovely isn't it.

A delight, pure delight. I would not mind having a garden again...
Brian Walbey: Lovely isn't it, you would be very welcome to come and sit in our (Maureen's) garden.
