Falmouth 6/7

We stayed at the Falmouth Hotel during our Cornwall weekend and this was taken just before we departed on the Sunday morning to catch the excursion train back home. There’s nothing particularly special about the shot but I did like this trio of Palm Trees and the shrubbery below them. Behind them is the clifftop and below the Castle Beach.  This my posting number 2,600 since joining Shutterchance.

Well, Brian, I think it is all special!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, the trees just looked so good in the morning light.

I like just looking at this and wishing I could be there on that lovely sunny day Brian.

Congrats on the 2,600!
Brian Walbey: It was certainly a lot nicer than today has been, I see way up North they have taken quite a beating over the last 24 hours, and it isn't done with yet!!
A wonderful exotic image Brian!
Congratulations on your 2600 posts.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, we don't generally get trees like that round where we live, quite a bit further north.
I like being reminded of summer, Brian. Congrats on 2600 and here is to many more.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mary. Any reminder of summer will help today, we've had a pretty awful day here with strong winds, but not as bad as the north of England and Scotland where there are really heavy floods in places.

We could be in Italy - but we are at the English Riviera - my congratulations on the 2,600!
Brian Walbey: Lovely trees aren't they, we don't get many of them round my way. Thanks for the congratulations, Mary has reached 3,100 today!
A lovely shot to leave Cornwall on Brian. Congratulations on the 2600th
Brian Walbey: Thanks Janet, Cornwall on that day was much better than Leicestershire today, it is very windy, but not as bad as way up North.

The warming effect of the Gulf stream drift is clearly evident from the type of tree here.

Well done on no. 2600 - I'm looking forward t the next 2600!
Brian Walbey: It is usually a bit warmer down in Cornwall than Leicestershire I would imagine. Actually the house opposite us had two palm trees but they were cut down some years ago.
A good one for the 2000th, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom.
