To think that this will be almost bare now, Brian, and still look beuatiful
Brian Walbey: Yes it might well be Lisl but they have a fine collection of evergreens planted between the 'normal' trees so there will be colour of some sort all year.

Just look at the different colours here
Brian Walbey: A real mix of 'normal' trees and evergreens, there is probably colour of some sort all year.
THIS THIS THIS. THIS is why I love autumn, Brian. But you already know that. smile
Brian Walbey: Indeed I do Ginnie, we had a lovely couple of hours at this arboretum, it only covers about 9 acres so is not too large.

Oh, what a lovely walk - now the most leaves have fallen down - but we have photos like this one that reminds us on the glory autumn this year!
Brian Walbey: We had a lovely couple of hours at this arboretum, it only covers about 9 acres so is not too large. There is still a lot of autumn colour round our way, we have had some winds but not too strong.

Sometimes the autumn leaves, provide a more colourful show than flowers. Must have been a relaxed walk.
Brian Walbey: We had a lovely couple of hours at this arboretum, it only covers about 9 acres so is not too large. They have quite a lot of evergreens so there was a nice mix of greens and autumn colours together.

Such fabulous colours, such rich colours. This is a wonderful picture, Brian. True Autumn smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Astrid, we had a lovely couple of hours at this arboretum, it only covers about 9 acres so is not too large, and is only about 20 minutes from us, we will have to return next summer.
Glorious colours Brian
Brian Walbey: A real mix of evergreens and 'normal' trees meant there was a really good mix of greens and autumn colours.
Very pretty, Brian. Our leaves are mostly down so I will enjoy yours.
Brian Walbey: This was about 3 weeks ago and although we have had some windy weather there are still quite a lot of autumn colours still about.
It looks like a full pallete of colour Brian.
Brian Walbey: It was Chad, there are a lot of evergreens mixed in with the 'normal' trees hence a nice mix of colours.

Oh, this is beautiful. Such fine colours. I especially like the golds and the red.
Brian Walbey: There was a nice mix of autumn colours but still plenty of greenery as a background.

Isn't autumn the most beautiful time of year, Brian?
Brian Walbey: Yes it is Pauline, one day I hope Maureen and I get to go to Stourhead or Westernbert in the autumn where there are magnificent colours going by the photos we've seen.
Wow, that's a real blast of colour, Brian!
Brian Walbey: There was a real mix of autumn colour and the greens from other trees.
