From Our Skegness Hotel Window 2/2

Following up the shot from our Skegness hotel window moving my new Panasonic TZ60 to the right I got this shot of the corner of the hotel garden and the sand dunes laying between us and the sea beyond. Over the horizon, a short flight and only a few hours away by sea, is the coast of Hollandshire where our dear friends Ginnie and Astrid live, not that big a world these days is it.

This picture is greener than a very green thing
Brian Walbey: The TZ60 seems to have a liking for green, especially in bright sunshine, I often have to dial some out in Photoshop.
Blimey that's bright Brian. Nice view.
Brian Walbey: Yes not a bad view Chad, I find the TZ60 seems to have a liking for green, especially in bright sunshine, I often have to dial some out in Photoshop.

What a view, Brian. You're right, the world is a much smaller place these days.
Brian Walbey: Not a bad view is it, worth paying a few pounds extra for a room with a sea view.
Your hotel was in a delightful position Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes it is along the seafront but further down from all the usual arcades etc., etc.one gets at a place like Skegness.
I love how layered the clouds look here. Have you upped the colour saturation or is this the colours of the new camera?
Brian Walbey: Yes it was quite a good cloud display that afternoon. The TZ60 seems to have a liking for green, especially in bright sunshine, I often have to dial some out in Photoshop, in fact I have done that here believe it or not.
A global village Brian
Brian Walbey: Indeed Bill, and some of the people in it are very nice to know.
Great view, Brian
Brian Walbey: Not bad for Skeggie is it Tom.

Did you wave at the Dutchies? I have to say you have made my rethink my views of this part of the world.
Brian Walbey: I did but they must have been elsewhere at the time smile Most of Lincolnshire is what we on SC call traditional England.
This is a much better view in my opinion, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Indeed Elizabeth, dare I say it, no windmills!!
