Following up yesterdays image taken on the River Ouse this is on the same river but somewhere I can’t, all these years later, actually identify, perhaps Graeme Hubbard might have some idea, he lives in that area of East Anglia and knows his way round very well.

It was certainly taken on a nice summer day
Very pleasant day on the river for them by the look of it Brian
This has a strangely posed look to it Brian, if you know what I mean. Like those old cigarette adverts.

You know, when I see pictures like this one, dated 1970 - I tend to wonder, are those people still alive, do they cringe in some old age home? Can they remember these boat trips? A bit depressive I guess, but also about the human angle.
Funnily enough I found myself thinking the same as Louis....rather depressing really
