Eyam Village 7/7

Because of the link to the plague outbreak that makes Eyam a popular visiting place one can feel a bit down at heel after reading and seeing everything so why not finish the visit with a local ice cream, and that is just what we did, but it goes without saying that before she could even enter the local shop to buy them Maureen decided the ‘more important’ task of inspecting the plants for sale took precedence!!!

What a nice shop -one day I must visit Eyam village - with such a moving history! Frohe Ostern to you and Maureen!
Brian Walbey: You would enjoy the history of Eyam for sure Philine, and the lovely church I'm showing this week. We had a lovely Easter at church yesterday. An Easter Breakfast at 9.00am. followed by Morning Service which included an infant dedication (baptism) and an Easter Songs of Praise in the evening at which our singing group sang two pieces, including this one https://youtu.be/Zh7E-A9mbUo
amazing happy making photo
Brian Walbey: Itw as when I finally got my ice cream Chantal.

It looks very pretty and it is the sort of place I would patronise. I went to the Little Cafe on the Green (or a similar name). I like the decorated churn and bowls.
Brian Walbey: This is a nice little shop. We used the tea room at Eyam Hall.
Her well trained eye at work Brian...ice cream can wait
Brian Walbey: Mmmm!
What a lovely display. Happy Easter to you and yours Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, we had a good day, hopefully you did to.
I would be right beside her, Brian.
Brian Walbey: It is a trait that seems to effect women more then men it seems wink
A very attractive shop front isn't it Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes it is Janet, that lovely stone work helps apart from the other bits and pieces.

Commemorative plantware...good idea, Brian...don't fight it!
Brian Walbey: I didn't have much chance to fight it Ray, it was her turn to buy the ice creams smile
Well - if they'll grow up in Eyam, they'll do well down in Leicestershire! smile
Brian Walbey: I seem to remember that she ended up not buying any Tom.
Niiice.
Brian Walbey: It was when I finally got the ice cream Jacquelyn!
