Ashford-In-The-Water Church 7/7

To close this look at the parish church of Holy Trinity at Ashford-in-the-Water, Derbyshire, on the right is a close-up of the main window above the altar in the chancel. On the left is one of the other windows in the church although I’m not at all certain who the characters are supposed to represent.

I always find church windows fascinating, even though the significance of what they depict is often lost on me. I like the window on the left especially.
Brian Walbey: Philine seems to be the expert on what these windows depict, sadly she hasn't looked in at this series very much to see them.
Perhaps it is John Paul George and Ringo?
Brian Walbey: To the people of Liverpool that would be Saints John, Paul, George and Ringo smile
These stained glass windows are wonderful Brian!
Brian Walbey: Yes not bad for a small country church.

Jesus has very shapely legs, Brian...something I had not previously noticed.
Brian Walbey: I know a lot of womenfolk with even shapelier ones Ray smile
These are very nicely designed.
Brian Walbey: The one on the left with four main windows I really like, I was hoping Philine might know who they represent but she hasn't looked in this weekend.
Rather nice glass - Victorian, I'd guess.
