photoblog image Clifford's Garden 5/7

Clifford's Garden 5/7

This is rather an amusing garden ornament that Clifford has in his garden. The detail modelled in the childs hair is very good. You can see the garden proper, and Clifford, in this amazing and unusual image put together by another of my camera club friends from another occasion.

I like the way the plant has taken over, Brian.
Brian Walbey: I think this looks altogether rather a nice mixture of plant and sculpture.
The detail in the hair is indeed quite nice... but I love the large spider web behind him the most!
Brian Walbey: Yes the hair is terrific, but I hadn't even noticed the web at all.
well how cute is that Brian... and you captured an impressive spider's web as well....petersmile
Brian Walbey: I hadn't even noticed the web Peter.

Brian Walbey: He's certainly made a very good job of the whole thing.

A very endearing scene Brian, this is well done!
Brian Walbey: Clifford has worked very hard to make such an interesting garden, I like this little statue in particular.
Just like a little cherub, Brian.
Brian Walbey: That was my thought Ginnie, isn't he cute, I would like one of those in my garden.
It is a bit twee for my taste Brian grin
Brian Walbey: I rather like this one, Wouldn't mind having one in our garden.

Mum, I said I didn't want a giant gobstopper
Brian Walbey: That would stop the gob of any wayward child wouldn't it.

Clifford has some really good stuff in his garden, Brian
Brian Walbey: It must have taken him a long time to get it just how he wants it.
A nice ornament to have
Brian Walbey: I wouldn't mind one of these in our garden.
I like this very much but would love to see one of the colourful gazing balls there instead of the concrete ball.
Brian Walbey: Yes I wouldn't mind one of these in my garden, perhaps he should have a different ball for each season of the year or something.
I agree with the hair Brian... A fine capture again
Brian Walbey: Lovely isn't it Ronky.

Very simialr to my own head of hair [ahem..]I wonder if twas a water feature and the water skirted up into the boy's face?
Brian Walbey: I must admit my hair was like that until I started school, my Mum wouldn't cut it off. It might well have been a water feature looking at the make up of it.
