Bolehill Farm 1/7

I posted a picture in the late summer of the cottage we rented at Bolehill Farm near Bakewell in June. This is a couple of shots I took in the courtyard round which the cottages are set. Lathkill, the one we rented, is on the upper floor of the building on the left of the top image, there being some steps behind the shrub to reach the cottage and the upper garden we had all to ourselves.

Looks like a very pleasant place to take a break, with your best gal, from Life's hurly burly, Brian.
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely place to take a break, and I had my best gal with me, her name begins with 'M' and ends with 'n' just to give you a clue smile
This must be quite a pleasant place to live in Brian!

Brian Walbey: One of the nicest places we've been to rent a holiday cottage Ginnie, it would be a good place to stroll the local paths and exercise your new knee when you get it.

Lovely old building and a good picture of them.
Brian Walbey: I guess at one time they were the outbuildings to the main farmhouse.

Lots of lovely gravel to park one's car Brian.
Brian Walbey: No cars on this area at all Chad apart from loading and unloading, the parking area is behind me off to one side.
a fine open space here to soak in the beautiful day Brian

Looks like a model farm
Brian Walbey: I guess it might have been that sort of farm in days gone by.
Very nice! It reminds me of some of the early settlers' cottages on the US East Coast.
Brian Walbey: I guess they would have been something like this.
