Bakewell 4/7

Bakewell has a beautiful little park right in the town centre, on the morning we were there it looked immaculate. I’m not sure what the stone obelisk and flagpole represent, something to find out next time we go there.

That tree rather do,images this scene Brian. I like the vegetation framing the photograph.
Brian Walbey: I rather like the tree Chad, I'm a bit of a spreading tree fan even if I don't know what type they are.

Yes, very proper - I admire the big, broad tree which could give shadow to half Bakewell on a hot day.
Brian Walbey: Lovely garden isn't it and I really like that tree, I'm a bit of a spreading tree fan even if I don't know what type they are.
It was freshly mowed just for you.
Brian Walbey: Your not far wrong Mary, you'll see why tomorrow.
A fine asset to the town Brian. Lovely isn't it
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely little park Janet, a credit to the town.
A well kept park Brian...is that a war memorial do you think?
Brian Walbey: It is a fine little park Bill. I Googled Bakewell war memorial and it cam up with something other than this, hopefully we will go there again and for my own inquisitiveness I will go and look to see what that is.
