Bakewell 2/7

Taken looking over the parapet of the bridge at Bakewell I posted a picture of yesterday this is the area on the northern side of the River Wye, a pleasant place to enjoy a walk if time allows, which sadly it didn’t for us.

No matter, Brian...there are some folks demonstrating your contention.
Brian Walbey: We did walk there many years ago, next time perhaps.
It does look pleasant, Brian, nicely caught with the obliging couple.
Brian Walbey: It is a nice spot for a stroll with ones best lady on ones arm, just right for you and Elizabeth in fact.
I would feel sorry too Brian...this is such a wonderful place!
Brian Walbey: We did walk there many years ago but this time other activities took up our time.

Very picturesque, especially with the sinuous path leading the eye in.
Brian Walbey: Bakewell is a nice place altogether Mike, especially this part of the riverside.
It shows the beautiful British countryside at its best, and Bakewell is such a picturesque place. Was there back in May after riding the Monsal Trail. Had to cycle back again, which nearly killed me but worth it to see the scenery.
Brian Walbey: We really like Bakewell, it is a nice little town. We're too old to cycle the Monsal Trail these days but I guess it is a nice ride as well as being hard work in places.
This is a most pleasing picture Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, a very pleasing little town.
Looks like a marvelous place with ponds to explore too.
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely little town Mary, surrounded by beautiful countryside and this nice riverside walk.
It would be great to live in that cottage. A beautiful spot Brian
Brian Walbey: I think it would be nice most of the year Janet but perhaps not in mid-winter.
Perfectly situated bench and chairs. Are they walking from the cottage?
Brian Walbey: I would think they are just enjoying a stroll, there is a small waterfall a bit further along.

I don't need to say anything do I Brian.
Brian Walbey: Not really Richard, your will have to have a reminiscing holiday in the Peaks one of these days.

Oh that's a shame; looks a lovely place for a stroll and a sit in the warmer weather; plenty of seats, too.
Brian Walbey: It is a nice place to stroll, I seem to think there is a small waterfall a bit further along.

That looks like a very small house there Brian.
Brian Walbey: I think it is Chad but I don't know if it is inhabited.
