It is very crisp, Brian.

Like a slightly over-cooked slice of toast...
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray.
You did a great job here Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.

They could so easily have knocked it all down in the 1960s Brian, thank heaven they didn't!
Brian Walbey: I completely agree with that thought Chris.
You've just made it look very old-timey, Brian. What a lovely view!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie, it's come out just as I planned.

I remember the original very well. Now how good the brickwork looks in sepia
Brian Walbey: Actually the brickwork does look better like this.

a wonderful old-postcard photo!
Brian Walbey: Just the feeling I was hoping to get Philine.
Best one so far Brian. This works a treat
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, I won't argue with your thoughts on this.

I've taken on photograph of the pub (left) from the path on the right ... nothing much has changes
Brian Walbey: I guess in this little part not much has changed for a long time despite all the new build around it.
Very good work on this , Brian. It looks great in this sepia tone.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mary, it has turned out just as I wanted it to.

This looks so old Brian, as if nothing much has changed in Birmingham.
Brian Walbey: Just the feeling I was aiming for Chad.
this is very nice on two counts: the treatment and the proportions
Brian Walbey: The treatment has worked out just as I planned it.
Gives it a nice "antiqued" air - apart from the big building at the back!
Brian Walbey: Came out just as planned, perhaps I should clone the tower thing out.
This is different and crisp Brian... i like your treatment... i also like the coloured one just as much...petersmile
Brian Walbey: I must admit to liking this one better, it has turned out just as I planned before I started 'messing' about.
