IN FLIGHT

I saw this model aeroplane on a stand in one of the hangers at RAF Cosford Museum and it seemed just right for cutting it out of the image and setting it against a sky I took somewhere else. I hope you think it worked.

Nice job, Brian. I am enjoying your selection from the Air museum.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, this is the last one for the time being, more to follow perhaps later on.
Works a treat, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Graeme.
it worked out great Brian... but you need some contrails behind itgrin....petersmile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Peter. I haven't got any contrails in my cupboard unfortunately, perhaps Chris has got some to spare smile
It definitely worked ... great idea!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Hollie.
Good work, Brian, had me fooled for a moment..smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Frank, another one I enjoyed doing.

It looks so real Brian.
Brian Walbey: I guess it does although, rightly, Peter said it needs some contrails.
It worked very well, Brian - could have fooled me!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom.
It does work indeed Brian! Well done.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.
I would not have guessed Brian
Brian Walbey: You and almost everybody else Bill, I enjoyed doing this one. Just for once I thought this picture before I even took the model plane, unusual for me.

Works a treat Brian, better than the special effects in some old films!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mike.
I'm impressed Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Juan Carlos.

Fooled me at first, Brian smile I'm rubbish at cutouts.
Brian Walbey: Then I did my job properly, most other people were fooled as well Alan. It was against a fairly plain background so the Magic Wand tool got rid of most of the background and the Eraser dealt with the rest. I'm pretty hopeless at cutting out more difficult items.
