SPOT THE DIFFERENCE

A while ago Philine posted almost the same image as this following her visit to Wollerton Old Hall Gardens.  This much guttered and downpiped side of the old house is right in front of one as you exit the tearoom so I took my version.  I decided to have a play just to make it a bit different so apart from the toning you should find at least 10 differences in the picture on the right from the original on the left.

This is so typically old English - oh, I love the geometry of the pipes crawling over -along - criss-cross the walls of the old houses. Yes, it is very interesting and funny to compare the two photos -thank you for this posting! I spotted 12 differences.
Brian Walbey: If you spotted 12 Philine then you've done better than me, I only done 10, and now I can't find all of them smile
I spotted 7 of them Brian! Quite clever.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, I can't find all 10 now!!
I spotted 9, too, Brian. How fun! smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ginnie, I can't find all 10 now!!

I wasn't counting Brian , but they all seem to relate to modern appendages that would betray the sepia image as contemporary.
Brian Walbey: Yes they were modern bits, sadly I can't find the 10th.one now, must be my sudden old age wink
I used to do those spot the difference things. I found 9!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, I can't find all 10 now!!
Good fun and clever idea - I spotted 9! grin
Brian Walbey: Thanks Martin, I can't find all 10 now!!

Oh, I counted the colour- differences, too! I spotted 11 difference things. Yes, clever idea you should repeat!!!
Brian Walbey: I recall when you posted your picture of this you didn't really like all those pipes etc.spoiling a lovely old building and while we were there I remarked on all that pipeage to the lady of the house who we chatted to. She admitted of course there was no other way to deal with drainage etc.sadly.
Very clever.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Suzanne.
I got 8, Brian, but the rest elude me.

A really clever thing to do.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Pauline, I can't find all 10 now!!
The untouched one has so much more life to it.
Brian Walbey: I agree but Philine and I have seen the real thing and Tudor house don't normally have all that pipeage etc., but I couldn't remove those so took the other odds and ends out for a bit of fun.
nice one Brian..Think I can only spot 5
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ronky, I can't find all 10 now!!

Brian Walbey: Thanks isl, I can't find all 10 now!!
Both are nice
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chantal, but did you find the 10 items I'd removed from the right hand picture?
Tricky! However, I think I found them all smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom, perhaps you could tell me where the 10th.one is!!

I found 11 difference things again! In our local newspaper you can find such a game every Saturday! Also possible in your church newsletter - a biblical scene with some differences!
Brian Walbey: What a good idea about the church newsletter Philine, I will bear that in mind. I have told Alan, and he doesn't mind, but when I have space to fill I do an 'Another Sunday - Another Church' spot, as you know I have loads of church pictures that I can use.
Is there a prize? smile The plastic pipe work looks rather out of place.
Brian Walbey: No prize I'm afraid John, and yes the pipework does look out of place. While we were there I remarked on all that pipeage to the lady of the house who we chatted to. She admitted of course there was no other way to deal with drainage etc.sadly.

I much prefer your version Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chad, but I did have fun making 10 changes, of which I can now only find 9!!
