Brimham Rocks 5/6

Reflecting back to my image on Wednesday this triptych shows in more detail just where that tree is actually growing, but as you can see, bottom right, there is another tree growing out of the rocks lower down.

Really nice display, Brian! This almost feels like a Japanese Garden to me!
Brian Walbey: It's the tree and where it is that makes it look a bit Japanese isn't it.

It is always fascinating to see the nature struggling - and surviving!
Brian Walbey: Yes nature does wonderful things, but just occasionally not so nice things.
You really took a fancy to those trees Brian
Brian Walbey: I was fascinated as to where they were growing from Bill.

All perfectly exposed Brian, good detail in clouds and shadows.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mike, good old Olympus smile
Nice shots, Brian, very Bonsai like. But full size.
Brian Walbey: They do look like Bonsai trees don't they.
I am glad for the glimpse of these fascinating rocks this week, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mary, just one more image to go tomorrow.
A lovely triptych. I am enjoying being taken around with you as you go on your travels.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Suzanne, we don't go abroad but I do enjoy taking photos wherever we go in our country and tend to come up with a mixed bag of subjects every now and then.
I like to travel in the UK and abroad when I get the chance, but the UK is so beautiful its always nice to come home.
Brian Walbey: Sadly the abroad thing is out of the question these days, a heart problem which my insurers won't cover and an inbuilt fear of flying keep me and Maureen within these shores, but there are so many places to go and see anyway we will never go everywhere we'd like to in our lifetimes I suspect.
The rock obviously has the right kind of nutrients!
Brian Walbey: Indeed it seems as though it does Tom.
An amazing triptych Brian! Well done.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, I took loads of this little part of the area.

Beautiful...Nature's prototype for Stonehenge.
Brian Walbey: A bit more attractive than Stonehenge as far as I'm concerned Ray.
Brian, sad to hear you are unable to go abroad. However, this island is so lovely and interesting, I'm sure it will make up for it. I hope Maureen is now on the road to recovery.
Brian Walbey: We still have many places to go in this country to be honest and will try to get to as many as we can. Maureen is doing reasonably well, it will be a slow job we think, she is not quite a mobile as she was the last time, perhaps her other leg is still not as strong as it will be to do the extra work.
